Important Instructions for Board Papers

1. Candidates should carry their Hall ticket every day. The same should be produced whenever demanded by the Supervisor, Centre Co-ordinator or the visiting officers.

2. Barcode sticker will be distributed for every paper by the Supervisor. Verify the subject and Seat No. (on the sticker). Write your Seat No. and Barcode sticker No. and then sign on Attendance Sheet (Form-1).

3. Write your Seat No. in figures and words properly in the space provided on cover page. Also sign in the designated space.

4. Candidates are not allowed to leave the Examination Centre during the examination
period.

5. Candidates should check and ascertain that the Answer Book is in proper condition and that it contains all pages.

6. Leave the margin only on the left side of the page. Do not leave margin on the right side.

7. Write on both sides of the page. Do not tear any page from the answer book or
supplement. Doing so will invite disciplinary action.

8. Ensure that the answer book and each supplement are signed by the supervisor. Write correct number of supplements used on the cover page of the answer book.

9. Write your seat no. on every page of the question paper at the top right corner.

10. Any rough work should be done by pencil on the last page of the supplement. Mention clearly that it is rough work. Do not use loose sheets or question paper for this purpose.

11. Write clearly the Question No., and Sub-question No. in the margin before beginning / starting the answer. Do not use different ink for this purpose.

12. Every new question should be on a new page. Sub-questions can continue on the same page

13. Supervisor signature is required if you cancel objectives or change ink .

14. Only blue ink is to be used. No marks will be given for answers written in any
other colour. Avoid gel pens as they blot on the back side of the paper. Stick to Ball pens.

15. Sketch pen is not permitted to be used in answer books. Use pencil for drawing
diagrams.

16. Disciplinary action will be initiated against candidates for the following reasons:
a. Bringing books, notes, scribbled paper in the examination hall, writing on body or
on clothes.

b. Talking to or communicating with any other candidate, copying either singly or
jointly.

c. Taking answer book or supplements either whole or in parts, outside the examination hall.

d. Exchanging question paper, answer book or supplements with other candidates
e. Disobey instructions from Centre-in-charge or supervisors or any other misbehaviour.

17. Do not write anything other than answers in the space provided for answers, such as your name, address, seat no. Deity’s name, request or threat for passing etc.. Any such attempt or attempt to establish your identity by various signs will be liable for cancellation of complete examination and disqualification for next examination.

18. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall in the first 30 minutes and the last 10 minutes of examination. It is necessary to handover the question paper to the supervisor if you want to leave the examination hall before the specified time of the examination.

19. Misuse of candidate’s entrance ticket or identity card during the examination is a non-bailable and cognizable offence. Action will be taken against both concerned.

20. The candidate must give the undertaking to Centre coordinator before the examination, if he/she desires to avail exemption granted previously for any subject,

21. Pocket calculator, mobile phones, pagers or any such electronic devices are not allowed in the examination hall.

22. Always use log table supplied by the Examiner.
